Hit me with your best shot

So I have another Deborah Lippmann polish to share with you. My friend and I watched Rock of Ages on DVD last week and my favourite part was Catherine Zeta Jones singing Hit me with your best shot. It is mostly for this reason that I bought Hit me with your best shot off ebay. However, I do not regret it at all- it's a sort of blue toned dark grey and it is absolutely gorgeous. These pictures don't even come close to capturing its true beauty- it sort of looks like petrol in a really good way.

This took two coats to be wearable and three coats to be fabulous. The first coat on was very streaky but you can't see any streakiness in the finished object.

The Lippmann bottles are beautiful- this and Ray of light are now taking pride of place in my collection
It sort of reminds me of A England Dorian Gray although I think this one is less glittery than Dorian and has the blue sheen to it making it a little different- I will have to do a comparison. I read somewhere that Pat Benatar who originally sung Hit me with your best shot collaborated with Debbie in the making of this and I totally agree that it would look amazing on a rock singer's nails. And here is a link to Pat Benatar singing Hit me with your best shot on youtube.
